Penn State Altoona faculty and staff may use the form below to promote an upcoming event, request print or digital materials, and/or suggest a news item or story idea that promotes Penn State Altoona in a positive way. Story idea suggestions include students' successes in academics, student life, and/or community involvement; faculty and staff success in teaching/research; human interest stories; etc.

Event promotion requires advance notice—preferably two weeks or more. Strategic Communications will make every effort to accommodate requests submitted later, but cannot guarantee coverage.

Publication or graphic design requires advance notice—preferably four weeks or more, depending on the request. Strategic Communications will make every effort to accommodate requests submitted later.

Each submission will be reviewed. If further information is required to promote your news, story, or event, a member of the Strategic Communications team will contact you.

Please provide details about your request. We want to promote your news/event as much as possible, so the more information you provide, the better. Information may include title, date, time, and location (if you're promoting an event) as well as details about the news item or event. The details can be provided as bullet points. We'll take care of writing it up. Thank you for your assistance!

If your request is time-sensitive, please provide a completion date. We will do our best to complete your request by this time, though we most likely will not be able to complete late or last-minute requests by the selected date.

Please submit copy, images, and any other information necessary for the creation or editing of your news item, story idea, or event. Some files may be too large to attach to this form. For the sharing of large files or if you're sharing numerous files, we recommend creating a folder in Microsoft OneDrive and providing a share link in the Notes.
