The Center for Workforce and Career Development is responsible for all non-credit professional development and personal enrichment programs and courses in a five-county service area. The office also administers all off-campus credit courses, manages the Devorris Downtown Center, and delivers customized training on-site to businesses and industry.
The Career Services Office supports and challenges students and alumni to achieve their goals through the development of life-long career planning and job search skills. The office also provides employment information, experiential education resources, and programming in a customer-oriented environment.
Penn State Altoona offers an array of Kids’ College camps during the summer for school-aged children featuring options in art, gaming, sports, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), and more. Kids' College also features the award-winning Sense-ational Endeavors program, providing sensory integration opportunities for children with autism spectrum disorder.
The Adult Learners Office is available to provide a range of services for adults considering first-time college enrollment or returning to the college classroom. The Adult Enrollment Coordinator is available to assist adult learners with the transition to college by working as a liaison with the admission counselors, financial aid, and academic advisers.
