The Center for Workforce and Career Development is responsible for all non-credit professional development and personal enrichment programs and courses in a five-county service area. The office also administers all off-campus credit courses, manages the Devorris Downtown Center, and delivers customized training on-site to businesses and industry. The Center for Workforce and Career Development oversees the following offices and programs:
- The Adult Learners Office is available to provide a range of services for adults considering first-time college enrollment or returning to the college classroom. The Adult Enrollment Coordinator is available to assist adult learners with the transition to college by working as a liaison with the admission counselors, student/financial aid, and academic advisers.
- The Career Services Office supports and challenges students and alumni to achieve their goals through the development of life-long career planning and job search skills. The office also provides employment information, experiential education resources, and programming in a customer-oriented environment.
- Many local children and teens can count Kids' College as their first interaction with Penn State Altoona.
