Penn State Altoona recognized outstanding employee contributions with the 2021 faculty and staff awards. Nominated by the college community, and selected by various award committees, several faculty and staff members received awards.
Men’s golf and men’s tennis senior Jimmy Gillespie has been selected as the AMCC Male Faculty Athletics Representative Award recipient. Women’s volleyball senior Velanna Skripek was named to the AMCC 2020-21 All-Academic Team.
The senior soccer player is the recipient of the award given annually to a student-athlete who demonstrates the values of leadership, caring, civility, honesty, integrity, and responsibility.
