- Discussion of the piece shows serious engagement with the artistic tradition(s) with which the student engages, a strong ability to articulate the techniques used to create the piece, and a clear consideration of the piece’s goal in terms of audiences

- Performance and/or discussion of the piece of art does not consistently engages the audience
