Shara McCallum, the 2021-22 Penn State Laureate, will visit Penn State Altoona on Tuesday, April 5, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.
Using the knowledge she gained from Penn State's program in public health preparedness, Shelley Haffner created an infectious hazards plan for the University’s Student Health Center in 2015, and then in 2020, she helped the Altoona campus respond to the COVID-19 outbreak.
