Students Advocating for Disability Awareness at Penn State Altoona held a “Spread the Word to End the Word” banner-signing event March 1 in the Hawthorn Building to kick off intellectual disability awareness month. SADA's primary mission is to create inclusive environments on campus and in local communities for people with disabilities.
Penn State Altoona will hold the second Birding Classic beginning at noon on April 22. The goal of the event is for teams to count as many species of birds as possible in a 24-hour period.
From March 29-30 and April 5-6, faculty will visit various classes outside of their areas of expertise during “Interface: Ideas Across A&H Disciplines.”
