Penn State Altoona will present a coffee house featuring spoken-word artist Dave G Tuesday, Nov. 12 in the Mountain View Room of Port-Sky Café. Coffee will be served from 6:30-8:30 p.m., with Dave G taking the stage at 7 p.m.
Kevin Hines -- renowned mental health advocate, storyteller and author -- will speak at at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts at Penn State Altoona.
Michael Roche, assistant professor of psychology, will will present "Everyone hates me for no reason! Relationship problems and the role of personality," from 12:15 to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, in room 150 of the Hawthorn Building. The presentation is part of Penn State Altoona's 2019-20 Spotlight on Teaching and Research (STAR) Series.
Brian Black, distinguished professor of history and environmental studies at Penn State Altoona, was recently honored as this year’s distinguished alumni by the Department of History at Gettysburg College, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1988.
