The Penn State Altoona men’s volleyball team has been selected fifth in the 2022 edition of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
The program combines study abroad with undergraduate research in environmental sustainability. Penn State faculty, staff and students will conduct a field practicum in Romania on the Danube Delta in summer 2022.

Penn State Altoona forward/center Alexis Cannistraci was selected as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Player of the Week in women’s basketball on Dec. 13. Cannistraci had a big week in two AMCC games for the Lions, including becoming the Penn State Altoona women’s basketball program’s all-time leading scorer.
