Timothy Melbinger, part-time lecturer in music at Penn State Altoona, will offer a performance of his work at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in downtown Altoona.

Penn State Altoona forward/center Alexis Cannistraci was selected as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Player of the Week in women’s basketball on Dec. 13. Cannistraci had a big week in two AMCC games for the Lions, including becoming the Penn State Altoona women’s basketball program’s all-time leading scorer.
