Payment for services can be made by charging your student account (your tuition bill) or by paying cash or check. The Health and Wellness Center also bills insurance for health services and psychiatric appointments.
Will Penn State Altoona Services accept my private insurance?
The Penn State Altoona Health and Wellness Center will collect your private insurance information and attempt to determine if your policy is active. The Center will submit a claim to most private insurance plans on your behalf for services rendered at the Health and Wellness Center. Any amount that is not covered by your insurance may be billed to you or your Bursar account after the claim has been processed.
The Health and Wellness Center does not check your insurance plan benefits.
The Health and Wellness Center can not determine if your insurance is accepted or participating.
