NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. – For day three of the NCAA Division III Week, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released its 2018-19 Academic All-Conference Team Wednesday, April 3.
This year’s Academic All-Conference squad includes 85 Penn State Altoona student-athletes.
To earn a place on the team, student-athletes must have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher through the end of the Fall 2018 semester. Student-athletes who had 3.5 or higher GPAs through Fall 2018 earned Peak Performer status.
Out of the 85 Penn State Altoona student-athletes who earned their way on to the Academic All-Conference Team, 53 of them were named Peak Performers.
Across the AMCC, a total of 932 student-athletes were named to this year’s Academic All-Conference squad. 594 of them, or 63 percent, were tabbed as Peak Performers.
