Penn State Altoona’s student dance company will present six new and repertory pieces choreographed by faculty members KT Huckabee and Caitlin Osborne at 7:30 p.m. April 28 to 29, in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Tickets are $5 for Penn State Altoona students and $7 for general admission. Children under 12 are free.
Penn State Altoona released the results of a survey of students’ experiences with and attitudes about sexual misconduct today (April 13), including a finding that 13.9 percent of students reported being the victim of at least one instance or attempt of sexual assault. The results are part of a comprehensive University-wide survey conducted last fall.

Todd Davis, professor of English at Penn State Altoona, will receive the Kjell Meling Award for Distinction in the Arts and Humanities at 7 p.m. April 28 in the Edith Davis Eve Memorial Chapel. Penn State Altoona initiated the Meling Award in 2006 to honor the memory of its longtime associate dean for Academic Affairs, who passed away in 2005. The award is intended to memorialize Meling's love of literature and language and his unwavering support as an administrator for the development of Penn State Altoona's faculty as scholars and artists.

Penn State Altoona will present "Scapin" as its spring theatre performance April 7 to 9, in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
