Jerry Zolten will be a featured speaker at the Pruit Symposium at Baylor University in Waco, TX, October 4-6. This year, the symposium will focus on black gospel music with the theme "Singing the Sermon: When the Message and Music Matter." As part of the symposium, Zolten will present "Straining at a Gnat and Swallowing a Camel: Black Folk Preachers, Life Teachers, and Equality Seekers." Zolten is associate professor of communications arts and sciences and integrative arts at Penn State Altoona.
