Penn State Altoona offers various intramural sports throughout the academic year. These sports allow students to compete in a friendly and structured environment.
The intramural program serves as a means of improving the quality of life, which allows all participants—regardless of the degree of skill—an opportunity to develop new friendships, group loyalty, sportsmanship, and respect for all opponents and officials. Intramural sports offer you the opportunity to participate in your favorite sport on a competitive or recreational level. Leagues are available ranging from indoor and outdoor sports; including basketball, soccer, flag football, softball, volleyball, racquetball, and dodgeball. In some cases, teams that compete and win championships may qualify to compete in tournaments against other Pennsylvania colleges or universities.
Registrations are accepted on the IM Leagues website. Contact Brad Brooks at [email protected] or 814-949-5416 for more information.
