The Adler Athletic Complex is the center of student activities at Penn State Altoona. The Athletics and Recreation Department hires approximately seventy-five students per semester to help with aquatic, recreational, intramural, and varsity sports programming.
The Athletics and Recreation Department accepts employment applications from any Penn State Altoona student for employee positions. However, due to budgetary constraints, work-study students are given first consideration for open positions within the department. Hiring decisions are made one semester in advance if possible. Unexpected openings are filled as they arise. Hiring decisions are made by the Athletics and Recreation administrators.
