Medical and Telehealth Services
Penn State Altoona’s Health and Wellness Center is open for scheduled medical appointments only on the following days and times:
- Monday from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday from 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
- Thursday from 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
- Friday from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Appointments can be scheduled online by calling the Center at 814-949-5540.
Telehealth services, including medication renewals, are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the Center at 814-949-5540.
Crisis/emergency and after-hours mental health concerns are advised to call the Penn State Crisis Line at 877-229-6400.
Emergencies and After-Hours Care
Health Services has a responsibility to ensure that quality health and medical services are available at the Center during operating hours and that adequate services are accessible to students twenty-four hours a day through community resources.
In case of an emergency, call campus police at 814-949-5222 or 911. The Penn State Altoona campus police officers are trained first responders on campus and will assist with crisis or medical emergency needs.
