Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) advisers provide information regarding academic policies and procedures, assist in developing short- and long-term academic plans, and refer students to campus resources. The Center also coordinates New Student Orientation.
Altoona has a shared advising model. DUS advises students who are undecided on a major or are transitioning from one major to another, and faculty advise students in a pre-major or major program.
Students are recommended to meet with their assigned adviser an average of once per month to develop a relationship and explore academic and career goals.
If you are a DUS student and would like to schedule an appointment with your adviser, please use Starfish, the online appointment system. If you are uncertain of your adviser's name, you can find out by using LionPATH.
