ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona’s Art for Wellness program will offer studio times throughout the fall semester. The studio will be open on Mondays from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Student Success Center, located in room 125C on the lower level of the Eiche Library.

Students can come with a group of friends or by themselves for some creative artmaking to help calm stress, practice mindfulness, or just have fun. Each week, art therapist Elaine Baney will be on hand to give a prompt and demonstration or assist in a student’s own idea. Art materials will be provided.

Art for Wellness is funded through Student Initiated Fee with added support through the Jamie Cordial Hall Foundation.
