Penn State Altoona to exhibit student artwork

"Ripples of Nostalgia" by Grace Brown and "Greena and Red" by Raena Groner are two of the pieces featured in “Workout,” an exhibition of student artwork on display April 24 through May 5 in the McLanahan Gallery of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

ALTOONA, Pa. — “Workout,” an exhibition of student artwork, will be on display April 24 through May 5 in the McLanahan Gallery of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. This exhibition includes pieces from students in the Visual Art Studies (VAST) program and general education art courses. This exhibition is free and open to the public.

The VAST program provides students with the opportunity for understanding and creating art. It consists of conceptual, technical and professional structures that help students become successful members of the art world.

The galleries are open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For further information, call the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts at 814-949-5452.
