ALTOONA, Pa. — The spring 2022 issue of Hard Freight, Penn State Altoona's literary arts magazine, is now available online.

The spring 2022 issue showcases undergraduate poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, visual art, and a faculty spotlight featuring the work of Professor of English Erin Murphy.

Students interested in serving on the staff of Hard Freight may register for the course ENGL 209: Journal Practicum, a one-credit experiential course that focuses on editing the magazine. Students may take the course up to eight times. Student editors select the works to publish, help to organize an open mic event, and design the issue.
