NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. — The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) announced its 2021-22 Team Peak Performers on Wednesday, April 6, kicking off the third day of the conference’s celebration of NCAA Division III Week.

Each year, the AMCC recognizes the teams with the highest collective grade-point averages in their respective conference sports as Team Peak Performers, and two Penn State Altoona teams were recognized as such: women’s basketball (3.57 team GPA) and men’s swimming (3.14 team GPA).

For men’s swimming, its 2021-22 Peak Performer award is the ninth time out of 10 years that the program has earned the honor, the most times as an AMCC Team Peak Performer of any Penn State Altoona team. Meanwhile, this is the first time that Penn State Altoona women’s basketball has earned AMCC Team Peak Performer status.
