ALTOONA, Pa. — An exhibition by visual art studies senior Keyran Hostetler will run March 24 through April 2 in the McLanahan Gallery of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts at Penn State Altoona. This exhibition is free and open to the public. A reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 24, in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center.

This exhibition takes inspiration from the lesser-known study of speculative biology, which makes predictions about evolution based on current scientific knowledge. Hostetler uses this principle to explore the dangers presented by climate change and the current attitude toward solving it.

The galleries are open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and before and during all performances. For further information, call the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts at 814-949-5452.
