De-stress Week events at Penn State Altoona set for Dec. 9-13

ALTOONA, Pa. — Stressed out over final tests, papers and projects? Get on your "A-Game" with Penn State Altoona's De-stress Week.

De-stress Room

Stop by the De-stress Room and relax for a bit Dec. 9-13, in the Learning Resources Center, Room 125B of the Eiche Library. Chill out with mood lighting, relaxing music, tea, snacks, adult coloring pages and comfy pillows. The room will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

Meditation Monday

Relax your body and mind with Meditation Monday, Dec. 9, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym of the Adler Athletic Complex. Michelle Rogan will lead a workshop on two different types of meditation. Students, faculty and staff can attend. Bring your yoga mat if you have one.

Hugs for Hounds

Stop by the Pond View Lounge of the Slep Student Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, for Hugs for Hounds. The event will feature therapy dogs for snuggling, hugging and smooching. Students, faculty and staff are all welcome to attend.
