Penn State Altoona student Nicole Kemerer was recently featured on Penn State's Student Engagement Network website. Nicole's blog entry, "Empowerment to Save Invasive Species," highlights her study abroad experience in Hawaii, which included hiking the volcanoes of the Big Island, working to preserve a sustainable fish farm, visiting ancient cultural and sacred landmarks, and more.
