Penn State Altoona faculty members present at conference

Nine Penn State Altoona faculty presented at the Pennsylvania Family and Consumer Sciences Annual Conference held April 12-13, 2019, at the Blair County Convention Center.

Peter Hopsicker offered the opening keynote address. Elementary and Early Childhood Education faculty members Leigh Ann Haefner, Freyca Caleron, Anne Mong Cramer, and Carrie Freie presented, along with Jessica Degol and Kelly Munly from Human Development and Family Studies. Criminal justice faculty member Lacey Wallace spoke, as well as Danielle DelPriore from psychology.

The conference provides information that enhances knowledge in family and consumer sciences-related areas and pedagogy and engages practitioners in content aimed at developing STEM skills and competencies in students.
