Penn State Altoona will present a cultural diversity panel titled "Learning How the Deaf 'See the World Through Deaf Eyes' and Their Successes," Wednesday, November 7, 2018, from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Devorris Downtown Center, 1431 12th Ave., Altoona, PA 16601.
Penn State Altoona instructors Ashley Bennett and Shasta Dreese will be joined by and students enrolled in CSD 218 American Sign Language to hold a panel information session. The panel will consist of deaf professionals who will talk about their struggles and successes in the education system, professional settings, and within their own families.
