Media Commons

Media Commons provides a variety of services to help you envision, produce, and publish creative and effective multimedia projects. Beginners and advanced users alike can benefit from access to our experienced consultants, training opportunities, and audio/video production facilities.

Penn State Altoona faculty and students can learn how to create digital media—such as video and audio—to positively impact their coursework. Media Commons can benefit staff by allowing them to document special events or create training tools for new office procedures or student workers. In addition to the open training sessions that Penn State Altoona hosts each semester, closed training sessions for a specific class, department, or group may be coordinated through Instructional Technology. A variety of tutorials are also available on the Media Commons site.
