Penn State Altoona Athletics named its 2016-2017 Female and Male Scholar-Athletes of the Year this week: senior Emily Baker of the women's volleyball team and senior Jacob Byers of the men's volleyball team.
Penn State Altoona held its spring 2017 commencement ceremony May 6 at the Jaffa Shrine. More than 160 of the graduating 210 students attended the ceremony.
