Classical Music Project ends on a high note

The Center for the Performing Arts Classical Music Project, an initiative that aimed to elevate the profile of the center’s classical music program within the community, recently concluded its six-season commitment.

Los Angeles Guitar Quartet CMP

The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet performed for the Penn State Guitar Club during the spring 2012 season of the Classical Music Project. The club’s members include students from a variety of academic disciplines, including engineering, math and the sciences. According to an end-of-season report, most of the students who attended the mini performance and discussion also bought tickets to see the ensemble’s Center for the Performing Arts scheduled event.

Time for Three CMP

As part of the 2015 spring semester Classical Music Project residency, classical pop trio Time for Three performed an intimate pop-up concert and discussion in the South Halls residence area for the residents of the Schreyer Honors College.
