Fall 2022 Student Projects

Bridge Buster
A senior Penn State Altoona Electro-Mechanical Engineering Project Presentation by students Noah Reighard and Austin Stivanson.
Our project automates the testing and data collection of the popsicle stick bridge competition carried out in our EMET classes. The project allows for a more accurate and safe collection of the total weight and displacement of each bridge until failure.

HHG CNC Wood Milling Machine
A senior Penn State Altoona Electro-Mechanical Engineering Project Presentation by students James Fogarty IV, Andrew Guthrie, Ryan Kleiman, and Caleb Shaw.
The project is a CNC mill with a turntable capable of creating screw mount holes for the instrumental drums for an industry partner HHG.
