Agricultural Club
The Penn State Altoona Ag Club provides students with the opportunity to establish and develop a spirit of unity, friendship, and sociability among students, faculty, and staff members. The club aims to stimulate a greater interest in agriculture and keep the community informed of the opportunities and increasing importance of agriculture.
Club activities throughout the year include hosting guest speakers, touring the agriculture facilities at University Park, visiting local agriculture businesses, and coordinating the annual campus-wide Ag Awareness Day.
Club membership is open to all students regardless of major.

Beta Beta Beta (National Biological Honor Society)
Mission: The Lambda Gamma Beta chapter of the National Biology Honors Society (TriBeta) at Penn State Altoona is an honors society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.
The many benefits of becoming a member of TriBeta include being a part of a wider community and network of academics who share a passion for the study of biology, enhanced scholarship opportunities, and gaining access to a platform to build on scientific knowledge. Students inducted into Tribeta can apply for small grants to conduct research, present their work at regional and national conferences, and publish their work in BIOS, the academic journal of Tribeta.
