Penn State Altoona's cheerleading team hosted a mini cheer clinic January 28, 2018, in the Adler Athletic Complex.
Sixty local children in grades K-6 took part, learning two cheers and one dance that they will perform during the halftimes of men's and women's basketball games on February 3.
All proceeds from the clinic help defray the team's cost of travel to the National Cheerleading Championship, held in Myrtle Beach in March.
