ALTOONA, Pa. — Brian Black, distinguished professor of history and environmental studies at Penn State Altoona, was recently an invited speaker at the Banff Center for Arts and Creativity in Calgary, Alberta, which hosted the international conference "Everything , Everywhere All At Once: The Crises of the 1970s and the Transformation of the Postwar World."

Black offered the lecture “Agents of Change: The 1970s Roots of Environmental Action Against Energy Consumption.”
