Altoona ‘Breakfast and Learn’ series to focus on artificial intelligence

Penn State Altoona will hold a “Breakfast and Learn” presentation by Larry Garvin, instructor in information sciences and technology at Penn State Altoona, from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, in room 001 of the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will hold a “Breakfast and Learn” presentation by Larry Garvin, instructor in information sciences and technology at Penn State Altoona, from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, in room 001 of the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence.

Garvin’s presentation will focus on Generative AI and the different forms it can take. He will talk about how Generative AI can be used in the workforce to generate emails, documents, and programs and demonstrate how to use AI to create these elements.

The Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence is located at 1309 11th Avenue in downtown Altoona. The cost to attend is $20. Registration is available online.
