ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will host a suicide prevention program at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the Slep Student Center.
The Blair County Suicide Prevention Task Force will share "Talk Saves Lives,” a program developed to teach attendees how to have conversations with peers about suicide and learn the warning signs. A suicide attempt survivor will also speak. Resources and support staff will be present.
The event is sponsored by Penn State Altoona’s Wellness Health Advisory Board and Blair County Suicide Prevention Task Force.
