Penn State Altoona’s Lambda Gamma Beta Chapter of Tribeta inducted eight new members during a ceremony held on Thursday, April 13. New and current members were also installed as officers during the ceremony.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona’s Lambda Gamma Beta Chapter of Tribeta inducted eight new members during a ceremony held on April 13. New and current members were also installed as officers during the ceremony.

Tribeta is the leading national biology honor society dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological education and research. To be inducted into the Lambda Gamma Beta Chapter of Tribeta, students are required to meet certain GPA and course requirements as evidence of high academic accomplishments within the biological sciences.

Newly inducted and current members are Haley Hatch, Elle McGregor, Nicole Bailey, Joseph Levri, Connor Oakes and Ben Tilmes.
