Penn State Altoona will kick off the academic year with a convocation ceremony at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, outside the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.
ALTOONA, Pa. — The Penn State Altoona community is invited to attend a remembrance vigil on Thursday, April 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Pond View Lounge of the Slep Student Center.
The vigil is an opportunity to remember and honor three students who passed away this academic year: Justice Cohen, Jack Murtagh, and Christian Wirth.
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to send photos to [email protected] for inclusion in a short video that will be shown. There will also be time for attendees to speak.
Support will be available including peer advocates, campus ministers, and Counseling and Psychological Services.
