Penn State Altoona’s innovative students and faculty have put together a rich and varied showcase for the community to explore.
Watch a video that envisions a creature built from traditional monster myths and a student’s own creativity. Listen to harrowing poetry that looks at abuse from different angles. Take a look at the beginnings of a paleontological biology study; and view intriguing studies of how the knowledge base of specific groups has an affect on perceptions of a medication used to block the effects of opioids, policing, and gun control. Learn how “princessing," or portraying a princess character, can influence a performer’s self-image; and see an automated basketball arm in action.
