Penn State Altoona 'Hard Freight' Open Mic set for March 3

ALTOONA, Pa. — Hard Freight Café, an open mic event, will be held Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m. in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The event will feature a kick-off reading by poet and fiction writer George Looney, Distinguished Professor of English and creative writing at Penn State Behrend.

Attendees are invited to read or perform their own work or share a favorite piece of poetry or prose. The event is sponsored by the English program and "Hard Freight," Penn State Altoona’s online student literary magazine. The event is free and open to the public.
