If you do not know which Chapter you should be applying for, contact the VA at 888-442-4551.
- Deadline: rolling, allow at least 16 weeks to process your application prior to the beginning of the enrollment period
- Decision: communicated from the Department of Veterans Affairs to students at their home address via US mail. The letter that is sent is referred to as a Student’s Certificate of Eligibility.
Apply for financial aid
- Web site: Penn State Altoona Office of Financial Aid
- Deadline: May 1 for maximum consideration
- Decision: communicated from the Office of Financial Aid to the student (and parents of dependent students) via email, directing students to access their Friends of Penn State account to view their Financial Aid Package.
