During the coronavirus pandemic, the Penn State Altoona Office of Veterans Affairs remains dedicated to the support and success of our military-affiliated population and the Penn State community.
Please note that due to COVID-19 guidance and precautions, our physical office will remain closed for the spring 2021 semester and we will be providing all student services remotely until further notice.
If you still need to submit your certificate of eligibility, please use the scanners in the library.
For students requesting benefits for the fall semester, we ask that you please submit all required documentation via email from your Penn State email to [email protected].

For assistance, please call 814-949-5086 and leave a message. Our office will continue to recognize normal business hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
If you need information from the VA directly, please visit the VA website or call the student call center at 888-442-4551.
