Fall Career Days 2026

Penn State Altoona Career Services invites you to participate in our in-person Penn State Altoona Fall Career Days 2026, including a Networking Reception on Wednesday, October 14, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., and an All Majors Career Fair on Thursday, October 15, from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at Penn State Altoona in the Adler Athletic Complex, 3000 Juniata Gap Road, Altoona, PA 16601.

Registration Fee: $150 (includes attendance at both the networking reception and career fair as well as a free lunch the day of the fair)

New This Year

We have changed from an engineering-only event to all majors. We're excited to offer employers an opportunity to recruit for internships and positions across a wider range of majors within your organization. In addition to your primary focus area, you can now promote other available roles company-wide. We’ll advertise these additional opportunities to our broader student body and extend Career Fair access to students from all Penn State Altoona majors, increasing your reach and helping you connect with more qualified candidates.

This year’s events include the following:

Networking Reception

Wednesday, October 14, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Employer check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Slep Student Center Pond View and Fireside Lounges.
The Networking Reception is a drop-in professional networking event that gives recruiters an opportunity to meet and mingle with Penn State Altoona students the evening before the Career Fair.

Please note: Due to space limitations, employers are asked to refrain from bringing display boards or large materials to the Networking Reception. Business cards are welcome and encouraged.

The event will feature light refreshments, finger foods, and plenty of opportunities for meaningful conversations in a relaxed setting.

Career Fair

Thursday, October 15, from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Employer check-in and set-up will begin at 10:30 a.m. Formerly in the auxiliary gym, this year's fair is in the main arena of the Adler Athletic Complex.
Students from all Penn State Altoona majors will be invited to attend this event.

Back by Popular Demand!

We are thrilled to announce that we achieved great success last year with corporate sponsorships, which enabled employers to enhance their brand visibility by sponsoring various Career Days events. It’s a great way to get your company’s name and logo in front of the students and enhance the experience for all in attendance.

Corporate Sponsorships

Event sponsorship opportunities include the following:

  • 1 Company Sponsored Catered Dinner in Port Sky Cafe (10/15 evening): $2000
Stand Out. Connect. Recruit. We’re offering a unique opportunity for one employer to sponsor an exclusive, catered dinner during our upcoming Career Fair. This event allows you to engage with a targeted group of fifteen to twenty high-potential students in a relaxed, meaningful setting.
    • Gain direct access to students interested in your industry or organization
    • Share your company’s mission, culture, and opportunities through a brief presentation
    • Build authentic relationships over a delicious meal—no booths, no noise, just real conversation. Continue the conversations that began at the networking reception and career fair.
    • Position your organization as a top-tier employer that invests in personal connections and leaves a lasting impression.
  • 1 Hospitality Suite with Employer Lunch Sponsorship: $1500
A comfortable, private space overlooking the event floor. Whether you're looking to network with industry colleagues, recharge, or strategize your next hire, the Hospitality Suite offers the perfect blend of comfort and connection. The suite offers the following:
    • A buffet lunch is provided for recruiters
    • A relaxing space to regroup between conversations
    • A bird’s-eye view of the Career Fair
  • Refreshment Table on the Career Fair floor Sponsorship: $750
Keep your brand front and center and support students and recruiters alike. This high-traffic area will offer coffee, water, and light snacks to attendees throughout the event.
  • 1 Networking Reception Sponsorship: $1500
Start the recruiting conversations at the Networking Reception, where students and employers can connect in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Early access to top talent and a chance to have meaningful conversations over refreshments and finger foods.
  • 1 Photo Booth for Professional Headshots Sponsorship: $700
This opportunity is open to all campus students, faculty, and staff to update their headshots and will be located front and center at the entrance to the Adler facility.
  • Volunteer T-Shirts Sponsorships
Worn by all students and staff volunteers during the Career Fair. We’re offering two levels of sponsorship:
    • Primary Sponsor (Exclusive): $500
Your logo featured prominently on the back of the volunteer shirts
    • Supporting Sponsors (Limited availability): $200
Your smaller logo is included on the back of the volunteer shirts
  • Career Fair Swag Bag: $500
Each student will receive a swag bag upon fair check-in. Display your logo prominently on the bag and help our students gather and carry materials as they visit the fair.

Year-round sponsorship opportunities including the following:

  • Career Closet Sponsor a Suit: $200 each
Through our Career Closet, students can access professional attire at no cost, ensuring that no one is held back from opportunities due to financial barriers. We’re offering employers the chance to sponsor a suit and make a direct, personal impact. Your company name will be featured on a plaque on display in the Career Closet.
  • Employer Showcase in the Career Services Office Sponsorship: $500 each
Framed 12x12 poster featuring your logo or ad hung in the lobby of the Career Services Office. You provide us with the digital file, and we do the rest. Please email Penny Harding at [email protected] to reserve your sponsorship.
