Access the training website by going to the Environmental Health and Safety site and clicking on the "Training" link.
Once logged into the training website, edit your profile to that your training records can be viewed by supervisory staff. Click on the "My Profile" tab to access the settings.
Ensure your supervisor is set to "cdf111" so that your training records can be viewed by supervisory staff. After editing your profile, be sure to click the "Save" button.
Select "Radiation Safety" and "Laser Fundamentals and Safety." Then select "Online Laser Safety Training."
This will open a slide presentation. After the presentation completes, there will be a 20-question quiz that must be passed to be presented with a certificate of completion. Create a screen capture of your certificate by pressing CTRL and PrtScn (to copy your screen to the clipboard) and paste it into a Word document. E-mail this document to the lab supervisor ([email protected]), your instructor (if requested or applicable), and to [email protected].
