The spring 2023 Hard Freight Café open mic event was held on Tuesday, March 28, in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Students and faculty performed music and shared poems, stories, essays, and visual art. Kicking off the evening were readings by Ian Marshall, professor emeritus of English and environmental studies, and Lee Peterson, associate professor of English.

Penn State Altoona’s Ivyside Pride choral group will offer its spring performance, “Icons,” at 7:30 p.m. on April 21 and at 2 p.m. on April 22 in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.
“STATIC!,” a body of work by Abraham Onkst, will run April 6-16 in the Sheetz Gallery of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts at Penn State Altoona. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
