Penn State Altoona to present three one-act plays

Penn State Altoona will produce three one-act plays Nov. 7-8 in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. “Fun,” by Howard Korder, and “Lives of the Great Waitresses,” by Nina Shengold, are directed by Leila McCrumb. “Hootie and the Good Pot” is written and directed by Aaron James with Adria (Jay) Schmidt serving as assistant director.

Penn State Altoona professors host podcast on horror nostalgia

Penn State Altoona faculty members Brian Onishi, associate professor of philosophy, and Jeff Stoyanoff, assistant professor of English and women's, gender and sexuality studies, released a new episode of their "Horror Joy" podcast, titled "Horror Nostalgia: The Rack with Tom Deady and ‘Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.’"
