Penn State Altoona will offer an Engineering Networking Reception and an Engineering Career Fair on Oct. 11 and 12.
The Engineering Networking Reception will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The Engineering Career Fair will take place from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, in the Slep Student Center. The events are intended for students enrolled in the college's Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Rail Transportation Engineering programs, as well as first- and second-year students pursuing engineering majors.
Penn State Altoona will hold an ADHD panel discussion from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, in the Slep Student Center. The event is designed to raise awareness of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and its co-morbidity with other mental health conditions, such as autism, anxiety and depression.
