Dozens of students, faculty, and staff attended the fall 2023 Hard Freight Cafe open mic on Tuesday, October 24, in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The event is sponsored by the English program and Hard Freight, Penn State Altoona's student literary arts magazine.
Throughout the month of November, Penn State Altoona Sheetz Fellows will accept donations for new or gently used winter coats, sweatshirts, hats, gloves and scarves for Penn State Altoona students. They will also collect some stationary materials, such as new pens, pencils, highlighters, markers, sticky notes, notebooks and more.
