"How Else Can I Tell You," a body of work by Sophie Brenneman, will be on display from Feb. 13 through April 3 in the Sheetz Gallery of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
A pair of Penn State Altoona student-athletes swept the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s weekly men’s volleyball awards on Feb. 3 as outside hitter Jack McKenna, of Manahawkin, New Jersey, was named the conference’s Offensive Player of the Week and libero Adam Chan, of Framingham, Massachusetts, was chosen as its Defensive Player of the Week.

The annual African American Read-in at Penn State Altoona will take place on Monday, Feb. 24. This year’s theme is Young Readers. Events include the “Monday Marathon,” a keynote presentation by Shanetia P. Clark, and a community program at the Railroad City Cultural Center in downtown Altoona.
A collaboration between Penn State and Shell USA Inc. is supporting efforts across the University’s mission of research, education and community impact. An initial commitment from Shell of more than $1 million is funding initiatives focused on energy transition, decarbonization, polymer recycling and biodiversity.
