Two Penn State Altoona students and two faculty are among a group conducting research on dragonflies in Ghana, Africa, this summer. The Penn State Altoona women’s bowling program was recognized for its strong work in the classroom earlier this week when the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) announced its All-Academic Scholar awards.

As a team, Penn State Altoona was one of 61 NCAA women’s bowling programs to earn All-Academic Scholar Team status from the NTCA. Individually, six different Lion student-athletes were recognized as All-Academic Scholar-Athletes by the NTCA.
