Commuting students make up approximately 75% of our student population. Whether you're living at a nearby apartment complex, an off-campus housing unit, or at home with your parents and/or family, be sure to take advantage of all that Penn State Altoona has to offer.

When it comes to food, there are plenty of options! Choose from eight food stations in our Port-Sky Café, visit Common Grounds Convenience Store in the Slep Student Center, or pick up coffee and a snack at either Coasters Coffee Bar in the Hawthorn Building or the Dining Car Downtown in the Aaron Building.
